Up to 17 states are now filing versions of Arizona's SB 1070 law, the hugely controversial measure to stop and detain suspected illegal immigrants.

Supporters of the Arizona law are delighted at the new efforts to target the undocumented

I especially like this part of the article:

"The Federal government has been hijacked by special interests that are neglectful of their duties and even hostile towards the rightful citizens of America," said William Gheen. "It is incumbent upon our states to protect American lives, property, jobs, wages, security, and health, when the Executive Branch fails to honor its Constitutional responsibility to do so by enforcing our existing border and immigration laws."

Hopefully the remaining states will follow suit.

This is incredible news! Will the radical left marxist democrats instruct their anti-American leftist stooges to boycott these additional states as well? This will take some of the heat off of what the courageous Arizona did to pass SB 1070. Our marxist regime in control must be freaking out.

Yes. Hilarious. But almost as funny will be the campaign ads in Nov that are going to be showing the various radical maxist amnesty democratic politicians who stood up and gave a standing ovation to the mexican prez when he trashed Arizona. These anti Americans won't have any place to hide.

Yeah, Rick Perry is pretty much owned by the illegal alien chamber of commerce. However, if poll numbers are still showing overwhelming support for a law similar to Arizona's he will have to sign it.

So am I. We have a governor who is not in the pocket of the illegal immigrant lobby so it would have a good chance of passing here.
