This is about Illegal aliens. Not immigrants.

Is CA a lost cause? In my opinion yes. My advice to anyone in that state is to get out while the getting is good.

California is the perfect experiment to show, liberal nanny state politics does not work to have a strong economy.

California will be interesting to watch. At some point they're going to have to cut spending - it can't go on forever the way it is.

When they are forced to cut spending, how will cuts be made? Cuts across the board? Do they keep taking in impoverished immigrants having many many children and put them up in style -- fulfill their "American Dream" and give them the lifestyle they came here illegally to have but cut the citizens out? Do they raise taxes and drive away the taxpayers which is like shooting themselves in the foot? If they cut back handouts for illegals already living here a couple years to accomodate the newcomers, will those illegals become resentful?

Or does California allow it's hospitals to close and it's doctors to leave the state while still insisting that completely free health care must be provided to anyone who shows up?

And how long can they go with 25% unemployment rates in some California counties and still insist that unlimited numbers of cheap labor types be allowed to come here illegally, stay forever, and either be given jobs or government services?

I think it's already to the point that any politician that is willing to address the problems won't be elected. So it's all a bunch of panderers who will have to make the tough decisions and of course they cannot.
