Question ... my last payment from IDES was half of my usual amount. I recieved a letter a few days later requesting I come in for the extended benefits and to bring the reemployment form & work search record. Went in on Tuesday with all of the paperwork and they said the other half would be deposited in a couple of days. Nothing this week. I'm to certify again on Wednesday and I was wondering if my next check will be for the full amount of only half (I'm not sure how Tier 2 works). Will I ever get the other half of my last payment or is that lost now that I'm moving into Tier 2??

When I went in it wasn't even really an interview. I handed the lady the papers and she said she'd send them to Springfield. She didn't ask a single question.

Now, as far as the rest of your benefits, I had the same thing happen, and I never saw the rest of my money. But that was back in February, and I think mine was a bit screwed up due to deductions for working 3 days a week for a few weeks.

fbm,

Yes, you should receive your back weeks that you certified for and did not receive benefits for once the system awards you the new tier 2 balance it will pay out those back weeks as tier 2 benefits.

Historic,

The same thing that happened to fbm could not have happened to you in February as the workshops/holds on tier 1 and tier 2 rollovers did not start taking place until sometime in late April (or possibly early May). It sounds like you may have earned greater than your WBA and when you reported your income during certification your claim closed out.
