I am looking at a house on Main Street, Anderson. It seems that the area is quite walkable, checked that on walk score. I am wondering if anyone lives close by and knows more about the facts around Main Street. Is it a safe area? I like to walk around in the neighborhood just to exercise, will it be an issue for a single woman? Any decent grocery store within walking distance? Thanks for any input, really anything that can help is highly appreciated!

ok ill bite.

Main Street? in Anderson?

I hope you have good insurance on your stuff... and on you..

You would be much better off moving to the better areas of the county. like Alexandria.

If you dont mind your **** getting stolen. maybe shot at. or killed by a crackhead for a dollar then move on in to main street..

And Anderson Police will have 7 less cops on the street...
