47714 is a big area. Some good, some, maybe not so much. I used to live near the corner of Covert and Lodge, an area that would not get rave reviews on a site like this. I never had any problems. The area around UE and closer to Green River Road is going to be the best of 47714.

Toxic toast is right. An area code is to vague in this instance. I believe the area North of Walnut, South of the Loydd, East of of Highway 41 and technically I will border it at Rotherwood to the west since UE campus takes up the rest of the real estate till you reach Weinbach. If you are closer to the campus, it doesn't seem so bad. However, the closer to 41, the worse it gets. Using the same East and West boundaries, but moving South, has it's ups and downs. More downs then up. Then assuming 47114 stretches West across 41 a short distance, it generally just goes from bad to worse until you hit down town(which is out of 47714). Moving East towards Green River Road is generally all good with the exception of a small area near Green River Road and Covert which is still 47714.
