Booking hotel on East 86th Street and was wondering if the area is OK?? Any input would be appreciated. Homewood Suites - it says "Indianapolis-At The Crossing" if that helps. Not familar with area at all. Coming to Indiana to look around for possible relocation. Thanks.

Really nice. Quiet. Not more than a walk away or less than 1/4 mile is the most upscale mall with a huge variety of restaurants.

Breakfast is great at La Peep on your side of 86th. Cheesecake Factory is one of the ones there. Good Art movie theater in the mall also.

You will enjoy it. If you need a walmart for any reason, it is south on Keystone. If you go north, you will pass Carmel on your left and then end up at 146th which has Clay Terrace the newest outside walking mall with lots of new stuff and places to eat.
