Are there any jobs at all in southwestern indiana? My wife is so depressed now, she is placing her resume in all sorts of places, even for part time work. She is a chemist and a science teacher! A bachelors degree in chemistry and an indiana teachers license with experience in lab! Indiana cannot be this bad! She has until may the 4th before her unemployment extension runs out! It seems like that there are so many people flooding the job market here that companies are overwhelmed and shutting their hiring websites down!! We can't live on what I make as a mechanic with me only bringing home as little as 160.00 per week!! Rent being 485.00 per month is really putting a load on us, let alone other necessities. I have not had a productive week in the company I work for in months! I only get paid commision! Even the places that show openings on the websites are telling her there are no more openings! She is even putting in for stores and restaurants and there are no calls for interviews! I don't know what to do, it's like we are stuck with no hope!! I'm trying to hope that indiana is a great place to live and work...now I don't think so anymore.

restearns,
I do not know where you are from but have you tried the Bloomington Area. How about Eli Lily? I hope these might help....

Good Luck,
