Hi, I'm new to Indiana and was asked to shoot an engagement photo, It's beginning to have a bit of a bite outside. I was thinking about doing an indoor thing, with a romantic feel. Does anyone know of any beautiful restaurants, or maybe a place with pretty decor, princessy chairs or anything like that. Anything that comes to mind.

Any little corner will do. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you so much.

Columbian Club comes to mind.
Also rich areas in downtown and the Indiana statehouse etc. And the monuments etc.
Also which area did you come from in the US and Welcome to Indiana/Indianapolis.

Hey, Broadrippleguy. I'm from California, near the L.A. area originally, they have some places down there. I really liked your suggestions. Thank you so much, and thank you for the welcome. You grow up here?

Also, I forgot to mention North West Indianapolis is preferable, not sure where my head is tonight. I will have to put it in the edit later.

the weather still isn't bad yet so you can still get in some good autumn engagement photos. I would suggest Indianapolis Museum of Art in front of the LOVE sculpture. It's the original and not some knockoff that other cities have. It's also considered one of the best places for marriage proposals. You can also check out the Carrilon at Butler University, 84-500 Butler Carillon | Flickr - Photo Sharing! (http://www.flickr.com/photos/minilaura/4071900173/ - broken link). If you want to get a little more intimate, there is a little Gazebo at Fort Harrison State Park at 59th & Post with a little creek in the backdrop you might also like.

NW huh? Try Eagle Creek Park for outdoor pics. I don't know if its possible but the Indianapolis Motor Speedway might offer a unique venue. If you're willing to go downtown checkout the Arts Garden.
