construction on Keystone? (Kokomo: college, map, work)

I'm going to be travelling south on 31 from Kokomo and they onto Keystone to 38th street. Can anyone tell me if there is construction or detours on Keystone?

Not anything problematic until you reach 38th. If you are getting off at 38th and going to Fall Creek you will be fine. The bridge is being worked on and no traffic is getting thru just after 38th. I just took this route from Kokomo and there is also some work around 32 but I had no problem with the traffic pattern and getting thru. Keystone is the detour route to keep people off 31 which is closed after the Keystone exit.

Last time I went through there, the work was actually before you got to 38th, just past fall creek (if you're heading south on Keystone). You could still get through, but it was down to one lane each way. I'm not sure if it's changed, but either way, you hit Fall Creek before 38th Street if you're traveling south on Keystone.

WH15395 is right. For some reason I thought that intersection was 38th but it is at Fall Creek. Husband said go west to College before getting to Fall Creek and south to 38th then left to your destination. 46th might be easiest or earlier. Dont take Fall Creek because you cannot turn left on 38th again per husband.

I was down there last week and that bridge before 38th can get really gummed up.

I'm going to gate 6 at the fairgrounds which is on fall creek off of 38 if I see it on the map correctly, so it's looking like I won't have any problems?

I'm looking that the map again, should I get on fall creek off of Keystone as I go south or go on to make the right on 38 and then right on Fall Creek to the gate?

If you are going south on Keystone to gate 6 at the fairgrounds, you have no reason to cross the bridge or drive on 38th Street at all.

Turn right from Keystone onto Fall Creek since Gate 6 is on Fall Creek. There's no reason to go down to 38th Street.

It should go good for you. Just dont speed thru carmel. Keystone is 50 mph thru carmel. Do not go more than 2-3 mph over that. Cops hide good. Plus theres contruction on 31 in westfield speed limit is 40 and dont go over 45. Cops lerking there too.
