Headed to Indy in a couple of weeks for a concert but will be there 2 nights and 3 days total. Staying at Candlewood Suites Indianapolis Northwest and am asking for input on where I should be eating and what sites I should be checking out. Any and all suggestions are welcomed!

Zest is great; they have this creme brûlée French toast item that's very good!

For nighttime fun, I like Ball and Biscuit on Mass Ave. If you like the dance club scene, Social is good but it doesn't get going until around midnight so be ready to stay until 3am. Enjoy!

We have stayed at that candlewood back 4-5 yrs ago when we first moved to indy. They actually have a pool which most candlewoods dont have. It was clean and we liked it there. Theres a nice charlestons resturant right nearby and you got castleton mall and all the shops and stores right on same road and within a mile. Go a few miles west and you have the keystone crossing mall which is more upscale again all on 82nd st (turns into 86th). Cheesecake factory would be my choice at keystone at the crossing.

Not sure of your age but if your younger and like the bar scene, Broad Ripple is a great place to hang out. Lots of bars and restaurants including a popular new bar called the Hopcat.

He said the the Northwest location, which is on 73rd and 465 on the west side of town. He can drive to Castleton from there, but it's not the location on that side of town.

You can take 465 north and east to the Keystone exit. Keystone at the Crossing offers nice dining choices and the Fashion Mall has upscale shopping.

Also in that area are Nordstrom Rack and the Container Store.

Rick's Cafe Boatyard is a popular restaurant in a pretty waterfront setting. Live music frequently.

Why would someone visiting a new city for just one weekend want to spend time in a shopping mall?

Downtown has the canal walk and White River state Park.
Downtown is very walkable and has many options for eating and drinking.

Where is the concert? Why stay so far from town?
