..Just out of curiosity, what are some of the colleges in and around Indy?
I'm probably going to a nearby CC for 2 years, but I'm keeping my options open for after that. Just trying to scope out some different areas, and Indy seems pretty nice.

IUPUI, U of Indianapolis, Marian College, Butler University ... those are the major ones.

there's also Martin University. Never heard of it before until the other day. it's not a biggie.

Here are your best values------- bang for your tuition buck.

#1. IUPUI. Indiana University - Purdue University at Indianapolis. The tuition is still (for residents) VERY competitive and you get an IU or Purdue degree. Great business school and art school, too. While the majority of students commute from the suburbs of Indy, there can be a great little existence in downtown Indianapolis condos, dining, arts, etc.

#2 BUTLER. Compared to other private schools in the Midwest, Butler tuition is low. The degree tends to carry some prestige and they have a great pharmacy program. Also, it's a fun, cultural campus life.

IUPUI is also building dorms for campus, which I think is fantastic.
