I do.

I was in high school. My Dad was stuck out of town on a business trip and my Mom was following me around the house, babbling incessantly because there was no one else to talk to.

I tossed in the towel, bundled up and walked about three miles to a friends' apartment where there was a multi-day party going on, where I stayed until the roads were clear and someone could give me a ride home.

My Dad gave me a hard time about leaving my Mom alone, while giving me a wink and grin when she looked away...

I remember the blizzard of aught-three (in Denver). The roof on Floyd's Barbershop caved in, the weight of three feet of wet snow on my kitchen roof made my cupboard doors touch the ceiling...and I missed four days' pay. The building where I was temping closed for almost a week. People were stuck at home, milling around outside in the snow just to get out of the house.

I remember the Siberian Express of eighty-nine, too. I was stationed at the Air Force Academy (worst place I ever worked) when the heater motor in my car went out. It was forty below with the wind chill. A friend and I replaced the heater motor in the parking lot. It was so cold the wire connectors wouldn't crimp; we had to attach the wires with duct tape.

Once again, I have to repair my car in bad weather. At least I have a garage this time.

Thats funny.... I do remember it. I did a similar thing, a couple of buddies and I went on a cross country jaunt to a friends house for the night. I remember getting lost for a while in the zero vis and big drifts.

I'll never forget it. We literally had to dig out of our house due to the drifts that collected at the front. In the back yard, we had a field day digging tunnels through the drifts at all the fence lines. I mostly remember it being fun, but of course I was a 15 year old kid too. I'm sure I had to help my Dad shovel the driveway to, but I remember mostly the fun. This picture is exactly how I remember it:
