Indy 911 Calls is a map that will show you the last 30 police, fire, and EMS runs in Marion County/Indy. Move your cursor over the shields and a window will pop up, explaining the run.

and for a forum of Indy residents, check out IndyStar

that doesn't look very nasty at all. are those last 30 calls within a period of 24 hours or are we talking about a shorter time span? My guess is probably a few hours or so.

It's about 2500 police runs a day; I don't know many fire and ems...I'm not very good at math, but I'm thinking that's about 20 minutes of runs.

2,500 police runs a day in this kind of heat? those officers need to be paid a lot more money.
there's no way that I would ever want to go to 5 to 10 domestic disturbance calls a day without being paid at least 100K (per month).

They were working on an update for the site, and took it down during the update. That was supposed to be complete a couple of weeks ago. Not sure what the status on that is.

Police in Indianapolis (Lawrence PD, IMPD, Speedway, Beechgrove) combine for anywhere between 2500-3500 runs per day. They operate on the same cad dispatching system. The reasons for run differential is often effected by the weather, holidays (Xmas is very slow), and events, Expo is busy.
