I am about to make a trip to Indy for a Job Interview with an IT Company. I am trying to get my hubby on board with the idea of relocating from the -expensive- DC Metro area to the less expensive Indianapolis area. We do not have any friends or family in Indy, so this would be a major move for us.
Can anyone offer any insight into the IT World in Indy? I am a Helpdesk Specialist …and my hubby is a Desk side support tech who is still in school working on his Computer Science degree.
I don’t want to put us in a situation where he can’t find work.

I would avoid the Indy area like we all were lepers during the middle ages.
Well, maybe not THAT bad, but since once I get back to Indy I'm also going to be looking for an IT job so I'm going to try to discourage everyone else
To answer your question, there are jobs. I personally have not had any luck but I think that it's due to being entry level myself and also being in the Army Guard. I've decided for right now to solely search for Guard IT positions.
