PM me and I can tell you all about the US Postal Service--this is not the forum for that subject, in my opinion. And I am hardly anti-tax (have far less problem w/ Medicare) but I think there are plenty of incompetently managed government programs out there.

I'm bewildered that you have never had a negative experience with the USPS.

Ok, i'm sure you can parade your ignorance around in plainfield with your beer belly and deer hunting friends, but since your on the internet your views are on display for everybody.
Looting, riots, and murder?
We were all in big trouble for a brief period of time but it now seems like the recession is coming to an end. California has the largest population, of course the problems of our state will be magnified.
There's also many different interest groups that have conflicting ideas which help to slow down legislation. And on the question of socialism, if california didn't have high taxes in contrast to your state or other social programs, the inner cities would have been pulverized after the dot-com crash and subsequent lay-offs of workers following free trade agreements that sent hoards of factory and other trades off to third world counties so they could pay them less. (mexico, china,) Companies such as dole fruits canning operations that employed numbers of people before moving over-seas for slave-labor.
I must agree many of the manly men here do like to kill deer.

Well I have grown up and live on the East side my entire life. Yes there is crime, but that happens everywhere. Everyone wants to always dump on the east side, and yet every night I watch the news, most of the murders/robberies etc. occur on the north and northwest side. Toughen up and learn to take care of yourself and you will fit in anywhere. If all else fails, buy a gun while you still can!! lol

I'm moving to Indy from Arizona and ,originally from Michigan..Early on in my search I had the some concerns with racism as well being a person of color ,but I found old friends who moved to Indianapolis and ,they absolutely love it .I also done some research on the school system and found their is a fair amount of Asians and, blacks in suburban schools ! I'm planning a trip to Indy in the next couple of months to talk to schools and , get a feel for the environment ,I've been their before and,to other Midwest cities and ,I really feel a vibe when in Indy especially in my opinion the cleanest and ,the cheapest !!! Best of luck to you !

Eh? Indy has no anti-Asian bias.

At least where I live (Carmel) we have a healthy Asian population. I have never seen (or heard second-hand) of any Asians being treated poorly simply because they were Asian.

Certain subdivisions have a high Asian (east/southeast Asians or Indian/Pakistani) in Carmel and they typically congregate in their own circles.
