I want to take a class to learn how to develop webpages. There are 2 classes: 1) Introduction to Dreamweaver; and 2) Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 Level 1.

I can't figure out the difference between "Dreamweaver" and "Dreamweaver CS5".

Does anyone know? Thank you![SIZE=1][SIZE=1]

Talk to the school where you are taking the class.

Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 is merely the latest oversion of Dreamweaver. Usually classes that are labeled "Dreamweaver" without a version indicator use the current version or one version behind.

Based on the class names, I agree with Tek_Freek, that there is really no way to know without asking the school.

Someone did a bad job at proofing the catalogue.

Dreamweaver was originally developed by Macromedia. The last version for Macromedia was Dreamweaver MX. After Adobe acquired Macromedia in 2005 the version designation was rebranded (first version Dreamweaver CS3) to reflect its inclusion into the Adobe "Creative Suite" of products like Photoshop CS, Illustrator CS, Fireworks CS, and now Dreamweaver CS etc.
