The FSD people don't understand irony. First thing the site asks you, is to contribute $10 a month to them so that they can advocate that you shouldn't have to pay other people anything.
I found several YouTube channels that are interesting for current events.
Dr. Todd Grande (pschologist with "speculations" on a person's psychology in media events (current or historica - e.g., Elvis, OJ, Gabby, Baldwin, etc.)
Strong Successful Male - obviously "male-centric" and somewhat one-dimensional with some observational bias. He does bring up valid points sometimes but it has to be viewed with a "grain of salt". To be honest, I am just waiting for his channel to be mocked on SNL one of these days. A lot of female vloggers seem to hate that channel.
The Walsh Family (Brandon, Jen, Kennedy, Dad, etc.) - I wish Todd Grande would do a psychological profile of them on his channel. It would be interesting. It looks like the Walsh children started YouTube vlogging as a hobby but their followers grew so large that it has become an advertisement revenue for them. Now young adults, they have embraced vlogging and reality TV to a new level that rivals "Three's Company" but with a metrosexual, pansexual context and blue hair by Brandon. His sisters are very beautiful and are "instagram" girls. Their traffic must generate "livable" ad revenue.. One of those YouTube vloggers did the math on revenue for clicks and ads with an algorithm based on traffic. So, the "Walsh" family appears to have embraced the YouTube market while making videos for their own amusement.
There are others. I mainly watch music videos. The "ads" are annoying though. It's ironic. I had originally started watching YouTube to avoid the ads on TV - lol.
