There's a tab that blocks the icon that I have to click in order to send the email. It is like a folded paper airplane, and it is behind a tab that says, "new message". Guess I'm just going to have to change email. I've repeatedly asked them to fix it but to no avail.

Default Anybody using Yahoo email?

Not I.

I've never gone anywhere near Yahoo, Hotmail or AOL. It's a mystery to me why folks ever choose them.

I use it. Here's the way it works..

1. Click Compose.

2. New message blocks Send.

3. Start typing in the To: box and the Send appears.

Compose tab disappears after a second. Guess you have to be fast...

Apparently Yahoo doesn't think there is a problem because it works for them and for you.

I'm not sure why that's happening to you. My Compose tab stays on after I click it, and I begin to fill out the To box, Subject box and the text of the message.... it's on until I hit Send.

I wonder if you have something else going on in your pc that's causing that? Have you run Malwarebytes?

The 'send' is there on the New Message tab..it is just greyed out and faint.
Once you start composing a message it shows up and is clickable.
Not being snide but do you need glasses....or better ones for computer use ?

I use it too. Once I sign in to Yahoo.., I've got a purple band for Inbox and shows 'Compose' with that little pen or pencil icon. Click on that and your boxes for To, Bcc, Subject and text box appear.

At least that's how it looks on my end when I try to send from computer if I'm at work. I rarely get on the computer at home. Otherwise I'm on my iPhone or dh's iPad (some weekends). Maybe it appears differently whether you're at a public computer or on one another's smart phone, depending on how it was set up?
