Can't see Yahoo comments, it's blank. (desktop, laptop, Flash, working) - Internet - - City-Data Forum

My laptop still shows Yahoo comments, but my desktop does not. I have updated Java, Adobe flash, and all the browsers. (none of the major browsers will show comments: Firefox, Chrome, IE).

Googled this and I can't get an answer.

What can I do to fix this?

Do you have any add-on's or extensions on the desktop that might be preventing this? Try disabling them to see if any of them are the culprit.

I had this problem and it was due to a firefox add on that blocked sites from tracking me.

This is exactly what I was going to post. I just added DoNotBlock to my desktop, and Facebook comments stopped showing. I allowed Facebook Connect, and comments showed up as usual.

I disabled all add ons and reinstalled Mozilla.

Cleared cache and I saw comments until I logged in. Then they vanished. Will look at the blocking possibility.

Well, nothing worked... until I moved to the country and got satellite internet. Now my Yahoo comments magically work.
Not magic of course, but my experience suggests my internet provider Mediacom had something to do with it.
