so i live in the valley northridge to be exact and was told by twc that my area has had all the new upgrades and for about $2 more than i am paying right now i can get 100/10 compared to the 45/6 im receiving right now. no complaints with my service with uverse but 2x the speed for $2 more is compelling. has twc changed their ways? is it reliable now cause my uverse has been since day one! 3 years ago i had twc internet 20mbps but at 6pm-9pm youtube would be to a crawl i guess due to peak times has their network changed with upgrades? i have cut the tv cord to save $60/month by using netflix (no remorse) love it but i understand internet reliability and speed is a must so help me out everyone

From the Netflix page...
5.0 Megabits per second - Recommended for HD quality. That is, if what you're downloading is indeed HD.

What will you be using the other 92 Megabits per second for?

I don't think you 20meg pipe was a reason for youtube being slow. Could have been youtube traffic. Was Netflix slow at the same time?

i dont know what the other 92mbps will be for but like i said 50.98 for 100/10 sounds better than 48.14 for 45/6 and ill have the chance to upgrade to 200 or 300 if wanted where as with att im stuck with 45/6 hoping my 1500 vdsl 2 distance can maybe call for speeds higher than 75mbps
