to use Whatsapp without a phone? What if I want to join a chat room without a phone and just do it on the computer but some code appears and I think I am supposed to scan it from the phone? But if I can only do this by scanning on the phone then Whatsapp is one of the stupidest idea I ever heard from when it comes to chatting with people.

In case I do have to use a cell phone is there a way to hide my real number, is there a way for me to receive a code on my fake number? and when you scan from phone to computer (never done that before) then what personal information does it give away?

Bluestacks for Windows. It is an Android emulator.

I sometimes check my Instagram over it, since the Android version has features the Web version doesn't have. Also Kik, when I don't feel like being on my phone.
