how do I stop my Facebook comments on pages from appearing in friends' news feeds? (working, click)

hello, I have one for you: if I comment on a facebook page with my personal account the comment appears in my friends' news feeds. whether they follow the same page or not and even if they aren't tagged. My comment will appear in their news feeds as "Xemj commented." and under that a sharing of the page's post and the comment which I made

My guess is this is an older article because the steps aren't working. A lot of these features are not currently on facebook or new facebook which is supposed to begin permanently next month. For example the + Create List option in step three doesn't exist now. I think this is an old article referring mainly to your posts on your personal account and not your comments on another's page
