I am hooked on Angry Birds 2. I have even spent money on the game. I think I know why I am so wrapped up in this game; I wrote off video games as being too complex and difficult for me. Along comes Angry Birds 2 and what do you know? I can play it. True, I lose alot, but I think some of that could be the game itself. Wanting you to spend, the game makes your bird fly high or miss the target completely. I've noticed some tricks the game pulls, but I still love it.
None of my friends understand this allure of the game. They have never spent money on a game, and think I'm foolish. Whatever. I just wish there was a way to improve my score w/out spending too much.
I like Angry Birds 2, too. But since they raised the price of the 2nd round of extra turns from 120 gems to 180, I've refused to spend any more money on the game, it gets to be too expensive.
I’m on level 2,221 on AB2. I have over 50,000 black pearls and 3,000+ gems. I’ve not spent a single dime on it and never will. Same with Angry Birds POP. I’m north of level 4,000 on that. Those are the only two games I play.
There's nothing wrong with spending some money on a game. You should not feel bad about that in the least. There are limits of course. A buddy of mine spent $400 on a Pay to Win type game. That's nuts. But a few dollars? $10? $20? Have fun!
How much is a movie? $9 + $3 popcorn + $4 beverage? For 2 hours?
You spend your entertainment dollars however you want!
