You're going to judge an entire show by a 30 second clip? LOL

You are seriously missing out. There is a ridiculous amount of excellent content out there, literally something for everyone. Never in our history have we had so it this good. It's the golden age of television, seriously.

If I were in your predicament, I would be looking at WAN failover solutions, assuming that no single consistent network is available.

Translation: have 2 Internet Providers. Buy a device that automatically switches from one to the other if one goes down (a higher end router).

Thought it would be good to correct this post. You don't need a high-end router for this. You just need a router that supports it. There's plenty consumer routers on the market that do.

Also, it's worth pointing out that there's two ways to utilize two internet providers. One is just as described above where one internet connection is in use at a time while the other is a backup in case the first one fails. The other is to load balance across the two internet connections to effectively have combined bandwidth of the two connections. In the latter, if one fails, the other still still works.

That's absolutely true. I can get a wifi router for $60. A dual WAN router is twice that price minimum.

This is correct. You won't find dual WAN on the low end $60 routers. You can find it on average priced routers, however -- just under $100. Not as cheap as your low end router, but in line with mainstream routers. You def don't need a high end router, however.
