Has the web traffic to City-Data.com been trending significantly down lately?

It just seems like many of the sub-forums I like to check out are much less active now than they were a few years or even months ago.

Is there any way to even look up the web traffic trends over time?

Only the owners or admins truly have access to that information.

Not only CD many of the other forums I visit are emptier, less posters, even the regulars disappear then return to post.
With the Corona lots of things changed and some forums members passed away that too.

The general stats are available for all of City-Data, go to the main forum page, scroll to the bottom. You can also see the "Live Forum Preview" and see what's going on in real time.

//www.city-data.com/forum/

It doesn't give you stats like how many visitors per day or per hour. The trends are only available to the owners via their web host.

Nice. General overview at least. Doesn't work for every site though. Tried the site I run and no info available.

Apparently traffic down just under 6% the past 6 months according to that. Doesn't seem too bad.

Most groups/lists/boards I participate in get slower over the summer and occasionally in other spurts.I just consider it the eb and flow of life beyond the internet.

Actually CD is the most active site I am on.......

Yes alot of sites are dying but thank goodness this one isnt,this is a good site and good people here.. This is (in my opinion) the only site worth fighting for.....

Most sites have gone to newer/crappier looking software which just isnt appealing..... This site is beautiful... The colours,etc.... I love VBB (Especially v3.8 and lower)

I think thats why this place has stayed so active,because they havent me$$ed with it and made it worse......
