Don't know about Onedrive, I use Google Drive and it's totally doable.
If they are audio files, there are apps that can do this. Here's a "Top 5" list, there are others I'm sure.

I use Muzecast which is a full featured music app. It is cloud capable as well. It's in the play store.
For video files it's even easier. Just use the Google Photos app. Upload them to your google photos from your PC. You DON'T need a gmail account to setup a free google account by the way but it you have an Android phone you probably already have one. Go to the google play store and search for "Google Photos". Download it and install it. Open it and you should see your files, tap on them to play them.
