Has anyone successfully regained their account after it’s been hacked? I tried recovering my account but it doesn’t recognize my phone number or emails associated with my account. More frustrating is that Facebook doesn’t even have any customer service support to contact! Millions of ppl use this as a form of communication and it astonishing that the company doesn’t have a support department, except for generic support links.

Any tips or help will greatly appreciated!

I hardly post anything on there anymore except for Market place to sell a lot of things, chat messenger is helpful to talk with friends and group chat, and obviously all the old photos and comments of my past. Feels like part of your history been deleted

While I have no clue how to recover an account, one thing I have learned over the years is that technology can and will fail. Social media should never be used to store photos (or anything you want to keep), that should be done on your own device and properly backed up as well.

My sister successfully recovered her account. She had to share her id with Facebook and wait.

If we had a hand clapping emoji in C-D I would have used that too.

Life lesson #43502 do not store your valuable or sentimental files on someone else's computer. This thread is a perfect case illustrating that what is often most convenient is the riskiest.
