I would like to see this as a sticky. Excellent reference tool for FF users. I've never taken the time to research all the add ins for FF and I appreciate Freedude doing it and posting the results.

Anyone else have favorites?

User Agent Switcher can be useful for those web sites that have old or faulty browser detection code ... you can send them whatever they want to see. Also makes it easy to browse using Firefox while pretending to be Opera or IE. Or Lynx.

I find Window Resizer to be helpful as a web developer ... it allows me to resize the Firefox window to a number of standard screen sizes with a single click, helping me to see what other users see on their smaller screens.

IE View lets you tell Firefox to open a specific site up in Internet Explorer instead, and saves that setting so it will always happen. Nice for those sites which INSIST that you use MSIE. It adds a "View this page in IE" item to the context menu in Firefox, and an "Always view this page in IE" item in the Tools menu.

You made a VERY nice list, Freedude!!

I should probably add the Meebo plugin. I don't use most of its features, but it's very nice for alerting me to incoming chat messages via a pop-up dialog when I'm off in another virtual desktop (via VirtuaWin). Nice when my wife texts me ... missing those Can Be Bad.

Thank you so much for this list! I had been wracking my brain trying to get rid of a status bar entry. After looking over the list, I was able to do it through Organize Status Bar. Reps to you.
