I have averaged down my position in AK Steel. Quite comfortable with my cost base. The 3.1% dividend means that I can wait for the stock to move back up.
Alcoa reported their 3Q earnings today. They did not meet analyst expectations as expected. Stock is tumbling now in after hours trading. This stock will be a good pick up (when it hits rock bottom and the dust has settled) for a long position.

Cheers?
1200 shares at 12.1ish. I'm seeing about 4000 in losses already.
As Paul Giamatti says in Shoot'em up, "**** me sideways"
AMPE has put a smile on my face. I'm up like 5700$ If it touches 9 in the next 10 days, I'll use that and buy more AA. It's a blue chip and it can't go wrong.
For 5 amazing calls, I make really 2 or 3 terrible ones. And all my terrible ones always seem to be sturdier companies with a good balance sheet. I mean, who would have thought Alcoa will take this treatment??
I also become an Aluminum bull and bought Sterlite in the Indian stock exchange, at 110 Rs each.
My portfolio is getting effed left and right at the moment. One week, there's a wild upswing and another week there's loss. I wonder if other investors are going thru the same chaos. At times, I wish I could shut it all down and go home
I hear you, Chamataka. Its so volatile right now its hard to put a finger on anything. Alcoa will come around. Its a very well run company! I also will purchase AA. In the meantime I got to make a little bit of money since Xmas is fast approaching. I got my heart set on a new Cannondale mountain bike, too.

Is it a good one? I'm shooting for a ducati. I'll buy it sometime in March so I can show off next Summer. Provided my profit plans pay off in the next few months.
It's gonna break the hearts of the ladies
Asia opened low on Alcoa and Europe's bad news. But it's coming off the lows now, as I type.

Umm, actually I'm not referring to that type of bike. This is what I mean:

Dude, that looks awesome. I actually had plans of getting one like that, but with the onset of winter, I've dropped the idea, I spin in my gym anyway. I'm just fancying a ducati at the moment
I rode a similar version of suzuki, honda and yamaha when I was a teen and in my early 20s.
Another addition to Oildogs buy and wait portfolio. Will revisit in a year.
