Well, the title pretty much says it all. I've grown a bit tired of ETrade, which I've had for about 5 years now, and am looking to try something new.

One brokerage I've been eyeing is Interactive Brokers, and wondering if any of you have any experience with them.

Any other suggestions for online brokerages would be helpful as well.

Yes Interactive Brokers would be a step up from ETrade. Advanced market orders and the option for international investments. But the trading platform is what pros and institutional investors use. Quite complex. No "hand holding" for beginners.

And ETrade is a step up from other brokers if using the ETrade PRO trading platform. Some advanced market orders. But easier to use.

May give that a shot. I've done quite a few trades, but am not really into daytrading by any means.

Interactive Brokers I like just for the plethora of trading options available. I have gone through the system, and it doesn't seem entirely too difficult at all.
