I'll take physical silver before I speculate on this cybercurrency... though I'll admit it would have been nice to have the hindsight to buy them at very low prices... a person could have become instantly rich overnight. I certainly would not buy now.
I invested in bitcoin because I think it might become a major currency.
Other than being an investment of mine, I like how (just about) anyone can obtain a small amount of free bitcoin and buy stuff with it (regardless of age or whether or not you can work). Details here:
For anyone who wants to try it out, there's plenty of websites ("faucets") giving small amounts of bitcoin away for free:
(First you have to set up a bitcoin wallet which doesn't require any personal information: https://blockchain.info/wallet/new Then use that wallet address to request bitcoins. I think this works because the websites get paid for advertising when people visit them. A lot of the websites below also try to explain bitcoin and echo some of what I said.)
In other words, watching that guy bash the USD as being backed by nothing (false) while then bragging about how much USD he made and spent by selling his bitcoins. And then acting as though he or she actually knew anything, because if they did, they could have held it for actual millions. But they were just speculating and don’t actually know better one way or the other.
Granted, they should have taken the money because of the risk and that’s why nearly anyone who actually holds to millions is a madman...but still.

So for those of us who missed out on Bitcoin, what's the next big thing that few people know about?
Bitcoin, Ethereum, second layers like Matic and NFT platforms like Mana, Wax, Flow, ENJ....
