I looked into the bitcoin thing and found that you can get machines that will mine them for you online, and they cost a lot of money, but you could make that money back over time. Then the machines got more and more expensive, and it also got harder to mine the bitcoins with them. Of course that trend will continue, so I saw no point in going after bitcoins with a machine. If everyone could just buy a bitcoin mining machine and hook it up to their computer none of us would have to work and everyone would in effect have free money, which of course isn't going to happen. If you have a lot of money to spend on the most advanced and fastest bitcoin mining machines and hook up a bunch of them you can stay ahead of the curve for a while, but in time your advantage will evaporate as the bitcoin market adjusts to that activity. So it's really just another game for rich people.

The ATM indicator strikes again. Bitcoin frenzy is in full force. If there is ever a contrarian hint that it's time to get out, here it is.
Bitcoin ATMs coming to the U.S. - CNN.com

It wasn't very long ago we were hearing about all these wonderful gold ATM's that were going to be popping up everywhere back when gold was $1,700.

Housing bubble, social network bubble, stock market bubble, China bubble, now this.

The only real kind of bubble is soap bubble.

I remember thinking oil was in a bubble when we hit 30.00 bucks after it fell to 10 back in the 1990's.

it hasn't entered a bear market yet.

one day these arm chair analysts will learn markets don't have a memory. they only know what someone is willing to pay today.
