I looked into the bitcoin thing and found that you can get machines that will mine them for you online, and they cost a lot of money, but you could make that money back over time. Then the machines got more and more expensive, and it also got harder to mine the bitcoins with them. Of course that trend will continue, so I saw no point in going after bitcoins with a machine. If everyone could just buy a bitcoin mining machine and hook it up to their computer none of us would have to work and everyone would in effect have free money, which of course isn't going to happen. If you have a lot of money to spend on the most advanced and fastest bitcoin mining machines and hook up a bunch of them you can stay ahead of the curve for a while, but in time your advantage will evaporate as the bitcoin market adjusts to that activity. So it's really just another game for rich people.
