That's certainly a strong argument for going with Fidelity (especially since the OP is worried about his non-investment-savvy wife eventually having to handle the finances on her own).

OP, what do you have to lose by giving Fidelity GO a try? You can always close the account and move the money elsewhere if the service doesn't live up to your expectations.

Question for this thread , has anyone used Schwab Intelligent Portfolios. Im reading this thread and wonder if anyone had experience doing business with Charles Schwab.

I like to manage my own money but I have a busy schedule so I park some money into CSIP. I kept the investment choices conservative and it's done ok but nothing spectacular and thats due in part to my investment choices which is ok for now but looking for a change.

Overall I think the website and tools provided by CS is great which I use to do some trades. Reading this thread has me thinking of moving on with another company. Also looking to seek Investment Advisor.

Remember that at Schwab part of you funds are "invested" in cash so you will not earn anything on this. Probably skip unless you go for the highest risk (this has the lowest cash investment) portfolio.
