Opened my Fidelity account at 6:45AM PDT and had a zero balance. The only money I had was in my bank's savings account and my HSA.

Maybe that's an omen?

Must be localized. Mine shows up fine now and I was in there earlier before the market opened and it was fine then.

I suggest moving your accounts from the junior-varsity team (Fidelity) to the varsity squad at Vanguard...

It's a backend database refresh. But yeah, could be an omen also.

i just logged in and instead of taken to my normal screen, this is the message i get:

"To help you navigate during higher than usual market activity, we've streamlined your client experience for the things you do most."

i am not sure the purpose, it looks like they dont want me to immediately seem my total account value and change for the day right away. i assume it is some sort of mental conditioning to help reduce the likelihood people will make bad decisions during the market downturn. i dont really like being manipulated like that.
