For the first, and probably only time in my lifetime, the predictable downside of that possible event was so extreme that I was uncomfortable being in the market at all.

That danger has, in my opinion, passed. The only danger is 'normal' recession/depression. Thus, I'm back in fully.
Eh. For that to happen would’ve had to of been a lot more done under trump. Courts have been shooting him down for months prior to the election for things. Overall he didn’t accomplish much and vast majority can be undone day one if Biden wants to. It was mostly stoking ego with headlines and twitter. He just wanted the spotlight.

Hopefully Biden reverses the brain drain from public service. Isn’t the end of the world but we lost some quality people that got replaced with stooges.

Trump is apparently not giving up. Crash on Monday??
It won't matter whether he gives up or not. Hillary, Stacey Abrams, and Al Gore found out the world moves on without you.
Me? .... I was stunned to learn Major League Baseball went on even though I did not get to play.
Life's a little rough, sometimes.

I can't get over what a wonderful year this has been. I am up nearly 50%.

If McConnell doesn't move forward on Trump's Election Week plum.....it doesn't stand a chance of passage.

Yeah I don't know where Rachael was coming from but this is a commonly held believe by the right. But it's clear that M McConnell is the one blocking the stimulus plan, he has made it perfectly clear that he is reluctant to spend what the Dems are looking for, what the President is looking for.

If this bill passes I would expect more market gains.

Dude is half way out the door, and markets know that. Don't let the kicking/screaming confuse you.

The tantrums are meaningless. It just demonstrates how unprofessional someone can be, though every time it appears we've hit bottom, the behavior devolves even more.

The electors are voting today, vaccines are on their way, and the market is looking forward. Change begets change and these changes are positive.

Politics do not enter at all into my investment decisions. With that said, if you want to look at the historical record you'll see that the three worst presidential terms in the past century, with respect to stock market performance, were all Republicans... Hoover, Nixon, and George W. Bush.

I'm stunned every year, when the Nobel Prize in physics is announced, and my name isn't called.

The Dems pushed the Russian conspiracy hoax his whole presidency to try to delegitimize Trump. I see no reason why he or the rest of the Republican party owe the Dems any better.
