What will it be like at 4pm today? Still in the red? Timmmmmmberrrrr!
Plunge protection can easily handle an anticipated bad report. By Monday all will be forgotten. Dow will break 35,000 as more eerie reports are pitched with a silver lining.
People must enjoy sideways trading and shorting these days.
Right now people have too much money. People have been sitting at home collecting their paycheck with nothing to spend it on or sitting at home collecting unemployment and stimulus. My brother in law had nothing to do with his stimulus and a small $5k inheritance he got. He put it all on Doge. Was up to $100k+ for a while, and he's broke. That was at the peak. He said he'd never sell unless he hit a million. I don't think that worked out.
Anyway, dumping extra cash into meme stocks, crypto and the market as a whole has been the only thing to do. Even casinos were closed. But now that people are actually spending their money again going out, traveling, paying loans, paying rent again, etc. I have a feeling some big sales and thus drops are on the way.
No one knows though, that's why I just keep buying!
I am so mad I was stuck in meeting all morning. I wanted to add more at the start of the day but didn't have time. By the time meetings are done, I missed out on a lot of gains.
We got a paycheck this morning and I am ready to DCA $2k into the market.
