Well it's certainly not just Omicron of course, lots of different events affect the market - but I think how it is played in the media is the biggest factor. I think it more frustrating than impressive LOL. But it is what it is.
But what makes so many things move in concert? High frequency trading? Contagion? When I wake up in the morning, decisions have been made about where things will move and it wasnt by people like me or many other classes of investors.

My account was actually up today. I've been hedged for weeks, mostly with SH but also some QID.
Plus, short on CCL and AAL.
I hope for more of the same tomorrow.

Way to early to say …anytime the fed says anything about rates rising there is a knee jerk reaction.
Historically slow rising rates has no see saw action with markets until rates get way high
Rates are going lower, NOT higher. The FED is bluffing. No real inflation in sight and deflation is the real threat that has never went away and it can’t until we endure it.
