Adding LEVI to the watch list. Very interesting little company and solid results announced today along with a dividend increase. I’m setting fair value on this one at $23, so with a 20% discount for margin of safety, target buy price is $18.40 so it’s buyable here.

Honeywell has dropped to a level where (IMO) it's buyable as a long-term investment. It's not going to be a "four bagger", but it's a nice solid company to hold if you're looking for relative safety.

In case you didn't know, all of the DJIA company reports are available to non-subscribers at Value Line...

I've been trading MP Materials lately. Got in at 29.89 and out at 32.59 the next day. Back in at 29.72 today, and we'll see what tomorrow brings...

Also bought a little ADM at 72.99 today and some WMT at 124.17 last Thursday.

Staying away from Disney even though it's tempting.

No, I would love to own COST, but as a value investor, I have to be patient and wait for the stock to come to me. As wonderful as a company COST is, I don't think it would be smart to chase the stock in this environment, not with a P/E of 40 and the retail sector weakening. If anything, I would think revising the price targets in this environment would result in revising them DOWN, not up.

COST may never get to my target price, but that's how value investing works. Set reasonable valuations and just sit and wait for it to come to you eventually. Besides, there's plenty on my list that is in the buy zone right now, better for me to be accumulating those than chasing the ones that aren't.

I've been watching $HUT for a while now. Getting to know its resistance and support levels. I may use this as a stock to trade regularly. It's up today but I didn't buy it or anything in anticipation of how the market would react to yet another rate hike. Seems the market is dealing with these pretty well since my BRK.B stock is higher today than it's been in the past couple of months.

$HUT is on my buy list but not today. (It went up 14% today ) I'll wait for it to pull back in the 1.60-1.70 range then I'll load up

From the lows on 7/1 nvda is up 21%+ and aapl is up nearly 15% so much for the discounts at this point

I might have missed it but didn't see meta mentioned. They're at at 157 at the moment. Could be crazy good as a long term buy. Check back on this post in 3 yrs, then again in 5!
