We live in Minnesota but a few dozen of us take the drive down to Mason City to vote and take advantage of the free beer at the VFW. They don't generally ask for residency if you show up on a tractor so we take Sven's cousin's rig with a hay wagon attached and make it a big party. I think we are voting for Bachmann but the organizer often has us switch our block at the last moment if he can finagle a deal with one of the other campaign managers.

The iowans picking Obama gave him enough momentum to beat Hillary in 04'.

This is a big deal, I once thought Paul had no chance but now.......

P.S. I think Newt is as slimey as they come and could never vote for him. Romney or Paul IMO would be my choices.

Interesting. Your choices are night and day different from one another on how they'd govern.

Ron Paul is a left-wing liberal whacko looney bird. It's funny that out of all the candidates, the only real unwavering conservative is Michelle Bachman...but she's dead-meat because of the media and the fact that she's a woman.

As I said, the good people of Iowa need to stick with picking corn, not presidents. Seldom has your pick been right anyway.

Define "right". We didn't pick McCain. He lost. I think we should wear that as a badge of honor.
