You do know that you can find porn on the internet, right? I think Asheville's largely right that you're confusing terrorists with Muslims in general.
Iran seems to primarily use hanging with stoning and firing squad used on occasion. Malaysia, Pakistan, and Egypt also mostly seem to do hanging.
Now Saudi does behead. As much of the Islamist terror descends from Saudi Islamic schools of thought it's possible that's an influence. (Really they descend from Egyptian and Pakistani schools, Saudi is more monarchic and ultra-conservative/reactionary rather than revolutionary per-se, but the Egyptian Islamists fled to Saudi due to Egypt being more of an Arab-nationalist regime) Although it being a sawing-off is likely for shock value, or because they're too lazy or incompetent to sharpen the blades, as I think the Saudis are at least somewhat professional with it.
