the quran has many reference to scientific facts .
and that is one of the types of verses that help those who have doubt to beleive that the quran is from Allah
and here is one of the fact .
it is Allah Who takes away the souls at the time of their death; and those that die not during their sleep He keeps those (souls) for which He has ordained death and sends back the rest for a term appointed. Verily, in this are signs for a people who think deeply.”The Noble Quran.
in the above verse Allah tells us the he takes the soul at death time
and also at sleeping time
and also tells us that sleeping is also death but temporary
