You will just get an excuse for this one, if you get anything at all.

For the well being of all, ISIS must be stopped. May it be done without harm to the innocents

ISIS(L) uses the veil of Islamic Fundamentalism to mask an overall enterprise that is closer to a traditional crime family than a religious based organization. Think about a few similarities between ISIS(L) and the NY Crime family made popular by Mario Puzo.

  1. Growth and profitability are financed by smuggling, extortion, prostitution, theft, narcotics, and protection rackets.
  2. Both are run by someone, (a 'Caliph” and a Godfather), who have ascended to power through violence.
  3. Enemies are eliminated by fatwas in the Middle East, the mob uses contracts.
  4. Egregious violence is used to cow and intimidate opposition.
  5. Soldiers are recruited from the local criminal underground. If the are killed in service to the organization, their families are compensated.
  6. Both have a code, (Sharia and Omerta), which supersedes the law of the land.
  7. Government agencies including the police are recruited and subverted to serve the organization.
  8. Once in, you are a member for life. No resignations or changes of heart tolerated by either group. The only way out is the grave.
  9. Members of both groups consider other members to be 'family' and outsiders may be used, but never trusted.
  10. And of course, crime, so long as it against outsiders, is encouraged. Rape, murder, torture, and anything else you can think of is all good.

It's not about religion, it's about money and the power money buys. ISIS(L) just uses Islam as a excuse to behave like sociopaths. Until the Muslims amongst them rise up and fight, they will be an influence in the region. We can never bomb or snipe enough to rid the world of this threat as long as they can hide in plain sight.

It's about religion, and the power that comes with it.

Everything they do can be traced to the teachings of muhammed.

Some of the teachings of Muhammad:

The strong person is not the good wrestler. Rather, the strong person is the one who controls himself when he is angry.
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 73, #135)”

"Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded." Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 2, Number 38
bullet

"Anyone who believes in God and the Last Day (of Judgment) should not harm his neighbor. Anyone who believes in God and the Last Day should entertain his guest generously. And anyone who believes in God and the Last Day should say what is good or keep quiet." Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 73, Number 47.

Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "No one of you becomes a true believer until he likes for his brother what he likes for himself".
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Writings from Bukhari, 300 years after the fact, can hardly be considered teachings of Muhammed, but rather philosophers of the times.

We might disagree about the source, but they are the teachings of Islam and believed by Sunni to be Sunnah.

Sunni, the group that commits 70% of the world terrorism.

The same people who brought 9/11, and Boston.

The same people who will bring the next one.

Yes, the very same Sunni. Being roughly 80-90% of the world's Muslims it is almost a certainty that a terrorist wearing the name of Muslim will also believe himself to be Sunni. Nearly all Muslims claim to be Sunni including some Sufi.

Sunni is anyone who claims to follow the Sunnah.

To follow the Sunnah one should adhere to one of the 4 Madhab --Maliki, Hambali,Hanafi or Shafi'i the choice is theirs, but if they follow a madhab it must be just one, and not try to combine them.

The Madhabs are the written Sunnah and are derived from various sources that vary slightly from madhab to madhab. It is also the formal teachings of "Islamic Jurisprudence" commonly called Shariah. It differs by Madhab and Nation.

But many do not follow one of the 4 recognized Madhabs. Some follow Wahhabi/Salafi or no Madhab. Today I believe a very large number of Muslims do not follow any Madhab or cherry pick and follow what they like from each one.

The Shi'ite follow different Hadith, and Madhabs than Sunni follow. I do not believe they even claim to follow Sunnah

this is what I claimed about islam all the time, it is not in the interpretation, much is written very plainly.

It is in the choice of which verses you, or your leaders want to follow.

It is another clue there is no god involved.
