Several verses in the Qur'an accuse the Jews of killing previous prophets, but none are ever named. Who are they?

Example: 2:91, Say, "Then why did you kill the prophets of Allah before, if you are believers?

As you correctly state, they are not named in the Qur'an.

Hence my question. Is there any clue in hadiths or anywhere else who those slain prophets are?

Not sure about any clue in the hadiths but there is one in a Christian Gospel Matthew 23:35 and of "prophets" in 23:37.

Don't you find it odd that this is a major complaint that God has against the Jews, and nobody has a clue what He's talking about?

God has many major complaints against Bani Israel even in the Jewish books. God has also praised them not only in other books but in the Qur'an as well.

Are we now going to charge God for complaining about something?

The real complaint is not about killing the prophets but about not believing them when they were sent by God.

Jewish history is a good one but also in parts sad one as well as not so good. I look at the BIGGER picture and not pick and choose a bit from here and a bit from there.

Suffice to say that the Children of Israel were the very first large group of people who had obeyed One True God. Christians and Muslims have followed many of their traditions.

I can go on but I think this is sufficient to illustrate the point.

You cannot explain what God was talking about, so you change the subject. He chastised the Jews for killing His prophets of old several times in the Qur'an, not just once or twice. It was therefore an important factor in His judgement of the Jews, yet He left you in the dark as to whom was killed. Minus any names, this just comes across as baseless accusation.

God was talking about killing of the prophets because they were not believed.
In 2:91, God is asking People of the Book, why did you kill the prophets if you were indeed the BELIEVERS?

As I mentioned before, the subject here was believing.

He chastised them for not believing. They had killed the prophets because they had not believed them.
Killing of the prophets is mentioned in the Old Testament books as well as in the New Testament books too.

We don't need to know the names. All we need to know is that there were prophets who were killed by the so-called Jews after they did not believe them. They had even tried to kill Jesus.
I am not surprised that God did not name them. He kept everyone in the dark in the Old Testament books too. He did not mention the prophets by name in 1 Kings 19:10, 14, 2 Kings 9:7 and in Nehemiah 9:26.
But you do see the references in them yet come here to complain about God not naming them in the Qur'an.

Is it then baseless accusation in Old Testament books mentioned above as well as in the New Testament books Matthew 5:12, Matthew 23:30-31, Matthew 23:34, Matthew 23:37, Luke 11:50, Luke 13:34, Acts 7:52 ?

One thing I am certain of is that we are not operating any of these forums to provide a place for people to bash another religion. We don't allow Christian denomination bashing. You can see that ruling at the top of the Christianity forum. We put a stop to people coming in this forum to blame Islam and Muslims for every wrong in the world. Speaking for all of the moderators, we so no reason to allow you to continue to bash the Jews. You can't expect members of any other religion to explain either. Most of them haven't read the Qur'an and are unlikely to do so. I hope this is clear.
