The West has a lot to answer for: the overthrow of an elected government in Iran in the 50s, the more recent calamitous invasion of Iraq etc, but it seems that Muslims are invariably their own worst enemies. Being stuck in the myths of the 7th century, it's not particularly surprising.

This is an interesting issue. We have several Japanese friends and they all thank us for dropping the bomb. I bet you have no idea why.

Japan's rulers were determined to fight to the last man. Like Muhammed, they were determined to attack no matter the cost to themselves. That we dropped the bombs actually saved many lives. Japanese lives and American lives and lives of our allies.

I say the above view are based on very low level of rational and wise thinking.
First you are getting off topic.
All evils must be addressed, i.e. secular and religion-related evils.
Re 2, they are not Christians nor is the decision to bomb based on Christian doctrines.
Re evils in 1, 3-4, they have been addressed by humanity and they have been eliminated or preventive steps are being taken to address the problems. Such evil can be dealt within the Political or Philosophy section of the forum not here.

Whilst the above root causes has been eliminated and preventing step are taken, what we have is the elements evil laden elements [the proximate root cause] that stirred SOME Muslims still exists in the same Quran that all Muslims adopt as core to their religion.
If we do not deal with these proximate root causes, terrible Islamic related evils [this OP] will continue to be committed by SOME Muslims all over the world.
