Let me ask you:

Why do you want to defend followers of an ideology where the 'god' demands endless and horrible torture for all disbelievers and the prophet raped a 4th grader and owned and traded slaves and sold women and let his menn mass rape women and even joined in? Why do you want to defend followers of an ideology where terrorism and hate are demanded?

Or maybe you follow this ideology?

Islam shares many similarities with Christianity and Judaism. It does not demand terrorism or hate--it condemns them.

Most religious clothing worn by Muslims does not hide the face.

A significant minority of Americans are sinking into fascist suspicion of Muslims, with hallmarks of 19th & 20th century atrocities. I speak up to defend against that.

That's crime, not terrorism.

Islam demands terrorism. Read the Quran and hadiths.

Islam and it's followers earned that suspicion.

I hate to even pause on this one... on the one hand I feel sorry for these 2 women. On the other hand, I can't help but feel surprised that they're so surprised this happened - given the news lately. They're putting themselves out there by wearing those scarves and making a statement. They have a right to do it, but if someone doesn't like it, it makes the news.
Hey, it's not like we jailed them, trained some pilots, stole some planes, crashed them into some of their buildings, beat them, honor killed them, beheaded them or cut a hand off or two....geeesh.....what's the fuss?

And because the Bible is bad - those quotes from the Quran are good? How about no religion - with the concurrent threats and menace and cruelty - at all?
Reminder - this is the 21st bloody century.
