The Quran is a record of the exact words revealed by God through the Angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad. It was memorized by Muhammad and then dictated to his Companions, and written down by scribes, who cross-checked it during his lifetime. Not one word of its 114 chapters, Suras, has been changed over the centuries, so that the Quran is in every detail the unique and miraculous text which was revealed to Muhammad fourteen centuries ago.

If you want to see visual proof, some of the Sana Qur'ans are translated.
The Qur'an of today is from the 9th century, not the 7th, you cannot even try to convince anyone that it was in memory, of all these people, especially when nobody even heard of it until 125 years later.

Both script and wording are different, and sura's 2..4.. and another are suspected of being different books altogether.
Islam is written in True Arabic, ( Classical Arabic) the same language Allah taught to Muhammed, and Adam.
The language existed before man.
So says Islam, and they had to destroy anything written in any other language.

Do you really believe a religion would last if the adherents remained out of fear of being killed? Most Muslims have absolutely no fear of death. the threat of death is not much of a deterrent.

People generally adopt the religions of their fathers, and to quit the religion, to go against the system, will isolate you from your own family, not to mention the entire village.
Remember when Muhammed first started preaching, in Mecca and was thrown out of Mecca, he had a dozen followers, for quite some time. Charles Manson had more than that.
When he started raiding, his ranks swelled into thousands, quickly.
