Who do you call? What do you do? Well, I've got a few tips for you on this!

You can call 630-CITY if it is in the Jacksonville area. You can go to safetylane.org | Northeast Florida traffic safety teams and click on Roadway Concerns Form in the gray bar and enter it for any of the North Florida counties.

So, do you have an intersection in your neighborhood, route to school or work, or wherever, that seems dangerous to you? How about if you need a traffic light or other traffic control device? Parking on street an issue for clear viewing to enter a roadway?

The proper traffic engineering department (city, county, or state) reviews them first. Then these concerns are then brought to the County Traffic Safety Team at their bi-monthly meeting. I have learned a lot about the processes and rules for traffic safety at these meetings. We welcome your input to help keep our roadways safer!

Um,...how 'bout the JTB exit off southbound I-95? Think we need a flyover there?

LOL Don't report them to me! That's why I gave you the info above!

You can also check on the FDOT website for information on upcoming construction projects, estimated start dates - even up to a few years out, and project managers for some. http://www.dot.state.fl.us/publicinf.../constmap.shtm

Just sayin'. It's so annoying that they spent all that money redoing the off ramp and it's still a huge problem and very dangerous. They should have just fixed it right with a flyover and been done with it. I don't think it needs reporting. Everybody in Northeast Florida knows about how jacked up that exit is.

^^^It's in the works. It will be one of the next projects and believe me, the FDOT and local agencies have made it a pretty high priority. A final design is either now chosen or about to be chosen, but funding has yet to be allocated. It's a $$$$$$ project.
