... up until a few days ago, their morning show was a couple of goofy sports talk guys ... now it's Lex & Terry ... this morning the first thing I hear when I turn on my car was L & T advising a caller to insist his girlfriend shave her pubic area ... you've got to be kidding ...

I was very disappointed as well.

I enjoyed L & T in college.....which was a 5 years ago.

Sports Final Radio was great in the AM. Thankfully, they just moved to 10am.

But, this means that I'm stuck to choose b/t McManus's sports show in the morning, which is awful, and NPR, which is fine, but sometimes I just want sports.

SFR was my drive-time listening. I enjoyed the ETN bits and the Friday five-pack during the NFL season. I don't want to listen to L and T, and agree with fsu813 on McManus' show. I shuffle between NPR and my iPod now. Bad move, 1010 XL!

No clue how McManus is on the air to begin with. He wouldn't last in any other city. I go with the MP3 player in the car now.

L&T are washed up. Their juvenile crap is played out. Very poor move by 1010XL.

Stayed tuned. I am working with some folks to bring another sports Talk Option to Drive Time.

Lex and Terry took over the morning show b/c it eliminated their competition (men aged 34-55) that was listening to 1010xl. Had they started on another station they would have had to compete instead they just bought the station and moved their competition off the air.

Sad day that a city with a NFL team has no real Sports Talk Radio in the AM.

My husband used to listen to L&T years ago. Don't know if he still does on occasion. Certainly not when I'm in the car. We have XM radio - and there's no need to listen to garbage radio these days IMO (we were listening to "Radio Golf" - the Masters - on the way driving home this afternoon - FWIW Radio Golf is better than it sounds - and has been a success). I sure hope it's better than TV golf. Or real golf for that matter.
