We are moving from Texas to the Jacksonville area. We are looking at Yulee or Fernandina Beach. We have elementary aged kids. Which schools would you recommend?

My kids are grown, but I work with little ones and come into contact with lots of parents. There seems to be a mild rivalry between Yulee and Fernandina Beach schools.
I really don't know much about Yulee at all, but I believe that perhaps their buildings are newer.
I think it's kind of weird the way FB has the elementary kids divided between two schools, but I suppose they have their reasons, I can see how it would be good to have the older children separate.

You really need to come and tour the schools and see what you think, but you can look at GreatSchools and read some reviews.

Aside from public schools there is also the Montessori and St Michael's. I have toured the Montessori school twice and the staff there seem very dedicated and professional.
