Been searching for the best Prime Rib in Jax for the last few years. Does anyone have an idea where to get the best and freshest? Please do not say Clark's.

I have tried: Chart House, Outback, Plaza, Ruth Chris, and a few others.

Input would be appreciated....Thanks

If consumer reports is to be believed, their most recent issue says that Mortons has the best tasting steaks, and Outback has the best value in terms of taste for the price.

Personally, I prefer Mortons over Ruth's Chris, but frankly, I wouldn't go to either unless I were celebrating a special event. Steaks are one of the easiest foods to cook well. My vote would be Costco and a charcoal grill.

Not talking steaks...I am talking about a slow roasted prime rib, not grilled steaks...but thanks for the input.

I know one thing......my wife sure likes the steaks that I cook on the old grill!
But, seriously, we've gone to Longhorn and had a very good prime rib dinner. Then again, it doesn't take much to please us for a prime rib or steak dinner!!

I would simply like to know who offers prime rib. Few endorsements here is worrisome. Side stepping through a chow line for carved rib roast is not an answer.

Millers Ale House has a Prime Rib Special on Thursday night at all of their locations.
You get a 12oz. Prime Rib a side and a small cole slaw for $12.95 And it's really good prime rib too.
